 王蕴红 博士，教授，博士生导师，现任计算机学院副院长。中国电子学会通信分会多媒体安全专家委员会委员。
1998年4月-2004年12月在中国科学院自动化研究所模式识别国家重点实验室工作，任博士后、副研究员，2002年10月至2003年4月于美国密西根洲立大学做高级访问学者。王蕴红教授一直从事基于多生物特征的身份识别研究与多媒体安全，研究领域为模式识别、信号处理及计算机视觉，具体研究方向包括人脸识别、虹膜识别、笔迹识别、多生物特征融合、信息隐藏及隐藏检测等。目前已在权威国际国内学术期刊和国际会议上发表论文80余篇，其中SCI收录18篇；申请国家专利7项，获得授权5项；作为负责人已主持国家级项目9项。其中主持国家自然科学基金面上项目3项，863项目5项，主持国家自然科学基金重点项目子项目1项，国际合作项目1项。于2005年获得国家技术发明二等奖1项，于2004年获得北京市科学技术奖一等奖励1项、三等奖1项，于2001年初被科技部授予863计划先进个人。2003年入选北京市科技新星，2005年入选教育部新世纪优秀人才计划，作为程序委员会委员参与组织本领域的多个权威国际学术会议(国际模式识别大会（ICPR2006）、国际生物特征识别大会（ICBA2004、ICB2006、ICB2007）、视音频的身份识别大会（AVBPA2005）、国际视觉计算会议（International Symposium on Visual Computing）等)。是计算机领域的国际权威学术期刊IEEE Transactions on Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence, IEEE Transactions on System, Man and Cybernetics, IEEE Transactions on Information Forensics and Security, Pattern Recognition等八种国际权威学术期刊的审稿人。
